Accommodation assignment/arrangement - Move in & set-up

18:30 – Welcome Aboard Dinner (Lake House)

Introduction to Passage Planning, sailing songs

20:30 – Return to Accommodation

22:30 – Lights Out

Day 1

Classroom Navigation - Advanced Sailing Exercises

08:00 – Provided Breakfast (Lake House)

09:00 – SailQuest classroom: Navigation, passage planning, compass, three point fix, etc.

13:00 – Lunch Break (Lake House)

14:00 – Taking command of a vessel, afternoon sailing exercises, picking up a mooring. etc.

18:30 – New Sailor Dinner (Lake House)

Rules of the Road review, sailing songs

20:30 – Return to Accommodation

22:30 – Lights Out

 Day 2

Onboard Orientation, Docking Practice - Live Aboard Training Voyage

08:00 - Provided Breakfast (Lake House)

09:00 – SailQuest classroom: VHF Radio, marine diesel engine, etc.

10:30 – Docking practice exercises

13:30 – Lunch Break (Lake House)

14:30 – Depart on Live Aboard Training Voyage, advanced sailing & sail handling skills

17:00 – Overnight anchorage at uninhabited tropical island, beach stop, swimming, etc.

18:30 – Provided Dinner on board (catered by Lake House)

 Day 3

 Practical Navigation Exercises - Live Aboard Training Voyage

08:00 – Provided Breakfast on board (rice soup, breakfast cereal, juice, fruit)

09:00 – Practical navigation & passage planning, sailing exercises

12:00 – Lunch on board (noodle soup, fruit)

13:00 – Man Over Board exercises, heaving to, short course sailing, skipper responsibilities, more...

17:00 – Overnight anchorage at uninhabited tropical island, beach stop, swimming, etc.

18:30 – Provided Dinner on board (bolognaise, pasta, salad)

Day 4

Practical Navigation Exercises - Live Aboard Training Voyage

07:00 – Provided Breakfast on board (rice soup, breakfast cereal, juice, fruit)

08:00 – Practical navigation & passage planning, sailing exercises

12:00 – Lunch on board (noodle soup, fruit)

13:00 – Collision Regulations, real traffic situations in the shipping port area, sailing exercises

17:00 – Overnight anchorage at Ko Si Chang, harbor swim

19:00 – Provided Dinner onshore at local Thai Restaurant

IYT SKIPPER Course review, Navigation light identification, sailing songs

Day 5

Live Aboard Training Voyage - IYT SKIPPER Course Exams

08:00 – Provided Breakfast on board (rice soup, breakfast cereal, juice, fruit)

09:00 – Sailing exercises and IYT SKIPPER Course review

12:00 – Lunch on board (noodle soup, fruit)

13:00 – Return to Ocean Marina - IYT SKIPPER Course exams & review

15:00 – Certificate Ceremony
